Manufacturing

Building safety

Driving precision, productivity, and protection, helping manufacturers integrate ISO 45001 standards and build safer, more efficient workplaces.

Manufacturing environments demand precision, efficiency, and above all, worker safety. From machinery hazards and chemical exposure to ergonomic risks, the challenges are complex and evolving. We provide tailored solutions that help manufacturers achieve compliance with ISO 45001 & 14001, streamline processes, and minimize downtime caused by accidents or injuries. By embedding safety into daily operations, you protect your people, improve productivity, and reinforce your reputation for quality and reliability. Together, we can transform safety from a requirement into a strategic driver of excellence in your plant.

Case Study

The Problem

  • A small manufacturing facility reported several near misses and minor injuries involving unguarded or improperly maintained machinery. Operators were often required to remove or bypass guards to perform quick maintenance or cleaning tasks, creating serious safety hazards. Internal reviews showed that while policies existed, there was no consistent machine guarding inspection program or refresher training for workers and supervisors. This led to non-compliance with OHSA requirements and increased risk of injury.

Our Solutions

We conducted a comprehensive machinery safety audit to identify gaps in guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and operator training. Our team collaborated with production supervisors to develop a Machine Guarding Program aligned with OHSA and COR® standards. This included detailed inspection checklists, visual SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and scheduled preventive maintenance routines.

We delivered targeted training sessions for operators, maintenance staff, and supervisors on recognizing guarding deficiencies and safely performing maintenance tasks. A “Stop and Report” campaign encouraged employees to speak up about unsafe equipment without fear of reprisal.

Result:
Within four months, the company achieved full compliance with OHSA machine safety requirements, and recordable incidents dropped by over 40%. Employee engagement in safety reporting improved significantly, and the facility established a strong foundation for continuous safety improvement.
